# Multi Tool Converter: source and credits Multi Tool Converter turns FModel level JSON exports into UEFN text (T3D) you paste into your level, all in the browser. It's by **Red & Borna**. It is an independent tool, not an official FileFortress tool. ## Licence GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (`../LICENSE.txt`). This tool is a derivative of AGPL-3.0 code, so it is AGPL-3.0 too: you may use, change and share it, and whoever gets it (also as a web page) can get its source. The source is this tool's own files, as they are: `index.html`, `css/` and `js/` (plain JavaScript, nothing compiled). ## What it's built on - **umap-to-uefn-converter** (AGPL-3.0) Its settings and data are ported into `js/engine.js` and `js/ported-data.js`: only terrain / only buildings, ported models (+ project name), biome override and cave floors, the texture-data fix, vertex paint (CustomLODData), ResourceType and bMirrored. Its original TypeScript source, as it came with the earlier version of this tool: `umap-to-uefn-converter-source.txt` (a JSON of file name -> contents). - **The conversion engine** (`js/engine.js`): Red & Borna's JavaScript port ("Declaration of War" browser port): several JSON files, AdditionalWorlds placed at their offsets, path swaps, exclusions, lights, rotations. - **Missing Assets, Material Reader, Blueprint Inspector, Attribute Keys, Collision** (`js/missing.js`, `js/materials.js`, `js/blueprints.js`, `js/extra-tools.js`): Red & Borna. - **The interface** uses the FileFortress kit (`ff-kit/`, served by FileFortress), so it follows the visitor's site theme. ## Files ``` index.html the page: Converter, Missing Assets, Material Reader, Blueprint Inspector, Collision, Settings css/app.css layout (colors and parts come from the kit) js/shared.js storage, the FModel JSON reader (keeps duplicate keys), tabs, asset matching js/ported-data.js terrain list, ported models and materials, biome materials (umap-to-uefn-converter) js/engine.js the converter: JSON -> T3D js/converter.js the Converter and Settings tabs js/missing.js, js/materials.js, js/blueprints.js, js/extra-tools.js the other tools js/kit-pieces.js puts the kit's classes on the page ```
