About this resource

UEFN Native Water System is a modular water material pack built for Fortnite’s native oceans, rivers, lakes, and transitions. It brings a cohesive, stylized look to your island while keeping its appearance customizable through material instances. - Spline-driven river flow with flowing normals that follow the current. - Velocity-responsive foam that grows in coverage and visibility as the water speeds up. - Subtle wind ripples that add occasional surface movement up close. - Animated caustics and adjustable water shading. - Biome-based coloring with customizable masks, world-space positioning, and coastal fading. - Dedicated ocean, lake, river, transition, far-distance, and HLOD instances. The pack includes 26 assets organized around one shared master material, reusable functions, and specialized instances. Adjust the shared parent for a consistent look across your island, or customize individual water types with their own colors, flow, foam, and surface detail. Organized graphs and commented sections make the system a flexible template for building your own water styles. Some features such as biome masks and coastal masks, as well as other features may require more extensive material knowledge, as this is meant to serve as a base for building fully custom water systems that work with UEFNs water bodies natively.
