FileFortress 1.1.1 is here
A cleaner top bar with search that shows results while you type, and Explore and Home load much faster.
A new top bar
- One clean strip across the top of the page, with a big search field in the middle.
- Results show up while you type: the best matches with their pictures, and "See all" for everything. Use the arrow
keys and Enter, or press / anywhere on the site to start searching.
- Every page and category is in the new Browse menu. On big screens, Explore, Web tools, News and the Desktop app sit
right under the search, and that row tucks away when you scroll.
Never miss a post
- When there's a news post you haven't read yet, News in the top bar gets a small dot. Open News and it's gone.
Faster pages
- The pictures on asset cards are now made for their size, so Explore and Home load a lot less. On some pages that's
around a sixth of what it was.
Privacy Policy
- We added a line about one small thing your browser remembers: that you've seen the "It's here" introduction to web
tools, so it only shows once.
- We added a line about the date of the newest news post you've seen, which your browser remembers for the dot on News.
- We took out a cookie for an old test design we no longer use. Nothing else changed.
Thanks for being here. Files for everyone.
