The Winter Update (FileFortress 1.1.2)
Winter is here: a frozen new look for the whole site and redesigned asset pages and Explore.
Version 1.1.2 is live. Winter is here! ❄️
Winter
- The whole site is frozen over: ice, stars and falling snow.
- The snow piles up on buttons and boxes. Move your mouse over it to knock it off.
- New icy logo.
- Want your old look back? Click the palette at the top to switch.
Goodbye, Fortress Fright 🎃
- The Halloween theme leaves in 3 days, on 1 November.
- Until then you can still pick it in the palette.
- After that, Winter stays for the rest of the year.
New asset page
- Cleaner and wider.
- Download, the picture and the numbers are right at the top.
- More room to read the description.
New Explore page
- Cleaner tabs and filters, so finding assets is easier.
Safer and faster
- We made uploads and sign-ins safer.
- We fixed some bugs, like the background jumping on slower computers.
Privacy Policy
- We updated it to say what we keep when someone applies to join us, and for how long.
Stay warm, and thanks for being here. Files for everyone.
