Upload a web tool

A small website that runs right on its page.

Your web tool

A .zip with an index.html and everything it uses.

How web tools work
  • The index.html closest to the top of the zip is the start page. Use relative paths like css/style.css.
  • At most 300 files, each up to 4 MB. Bigger media goes in step 2.
  • Only its own files: nothing from other websites (no CDNs, no Google Fonts), no cookies or browser storage.
  • Testing on your computer? Put your media in a folder ff-media next to index.html. Leave both out of the zip.

Let people download your web tool?

Please read this before you switch it on.

  • Everyone gets your source. The whole zip: your HTML, CSS, JavaScript and every file in it. They can run it on their own computer and read all of your code.
  • Your license decides the rest. Pick the license below with care: it says if people may change, share or sell what they download.
  • You can't take copies back. You can switch downloads off again later, but files people already downloaded stay with them.
  • Built on one of our templates? Its license comes with the download: people may only publish the template's code on FileFortress, never elsewhere.

We only use cookies the site needs to work. No tracking, no ads, no analytics. Privacy policy
