Today FileFortress opens its doors. 🏰

The idea is simple: one place where creators share the assets they make, and everyone can use them, without ads, without an account and without paying a cent. The library is just getting started, so every upload helps shape what it becomes. Let's build it together. WHAT YOU CAN DO ON THE SITE • Browse and download for free: models, materials, textures, sounds, heightmaps, Verse scripts, tools and more. • Filter by the software you use: UEFN, Unreal Engine, Blender, Substance and Photoshop. • Upload without an account. You set a PIN and get a private edit link, saved for you as a small .txt file. With both you can update or remove your upload any time. • Add a recovery phrase if you like, so you can get back in if you ever lose your link. • Every upload and edit is reviewed by a moderator before it goes live, so what you download is what it says it is. While an update waits for review, the current version stays online. • Mark AI-made work with the "Made with AI" tag, so everyone knows what they are getting. • Like the assets you enjoy, and report anything that breaks the rules. THE DESKTOP APP FOR WINDOWS Prefer an app? The FileFortress desktop app has everything from the website, plus: • A download manager with live speed, progress and history. Everything lands in one FileFortress folder in your Documents. • One-click extract for zip, rar and 7z files, straight into your Installed library. • Update alerts: the app tells you when an asset you installed gets a new version, and updates it with one click. • My uploads: uploads you make in the app are saved automatically with their status (In review, Live, Update in review), and on that PC you can edit them without typing your PIN every time. • The app keeps itself up to date. Get it here: filefortress.dev/app (Windows may show "unknown publisher" on first start. Choose "More info", then "Run anyway".) YOUR PRIVACY No advertising, no tracking, no analytics. We never store your IP address in readable form, and we only use cookies the site needs to work. The details are in our Privacy page. WHAT'S NEXT This is day one. Upload your first asset, tell your friends, and help us grow the library. Every creator who shares something makes FileFortress better for everyone. Files for everyone. 🏰
