FileFortress 1.0.5 is here
Uploading got a lot friendlier: pictures add up, every license explains itself, you can add your own software, and you can get your files back after a rejection.
Version 1.0.5 is live. This update is all about uploading: fewer surprises, clearer choices and less to read. Here's what's new:
Adding pictures works the way you'd expect
When you add gallery pictures to an upload, every pick now adds to the ones you already chose instead of replacing them. Each picture has a small x if you want to take it out again.
Know what a license means
Not sure which license to pick? Every license now explains itself right in the list, and the line under the field tells you what the one you picked allows. The new Licenses page (link above the License field, and in the footer) compares them side by side: commercial use, changes, credit. Downloading? Click the license on any asset page to see what you may do with it.
Your software not in the list?
Under "Made for", click "+ Add software" and type the program your asset is for. It shows on your page next to the others.
Get your files back after a rejection
If a moderator rejected your upload, you can now download your own file from your edit page, fix it, and send it again. Rejected uploads are deleted 30 days after the rejection, so grab your files before then.
Behind the scenes
Our team got new tools to review uploads faster and keep spam out, so your uploads go live sooner.
